本当にKelly Jonesの声はいい！一回だけケリーとBathのパブで会ったことあります。小柄だったけど眉毛が端整で格好良かったな。

国立近代美術館のゴーギャン展に行って来ました。

我々はどこから来たのか 我々は何者か 我々はどこへ行くのか

この作品は写真でしかみたことがなかったけど、そんな奥深い意味があったのか〜。

とはいえ、ゴーギャンが解説を残していた訳ではなく後から専門家が言っていることのようだから本当にゴーギャンが意図していたことかは分からないけど、一般的には、右側に生まれたばかりの赤ちゃん（生）、左側には死を間近に控えた老女（死）、一見絶望的だけど真ん中にいる月の神ヒナにより希望が見える、そんな絵だそうです。

画家としての駆け出し時代のピサロや印象派の影響の強い絵、ゴッホとの交流時代、タヒチに渡ってからの絵と版画など時代を追うごとに変化するゴーギャンの絵、興味深かったです。

しかしタヒチ以外にもこんなに世界中を旅してる放浪の人とは思わなかったな。
